Hollow Plunger Workholding Rams Allow The Load To Be Attached To Either End Of The Cylinder For Push Or Pull Operation, And They Have An Internal Spring That Returns The Cylinder To Its Starting Position For Unloading The Workpiece. Solid Plunger Workholding Rams Provide Movement In One Direction (Single-Acting) And They Have A Long Stroke Length For Use In Tight Spaces Such As In Welding Applications.
