Symptoms of a failing tensioner bearings

Noise – Bad bearings make a high pitched “whine” or “growling” noise after the engine has been started.

Rocking – With the timing belt removed, check for side to side play or “rocking” on both the idler pulley and tensioner pulley. Replace if any movement is detected.

Tensioner bearings repair & replacement

If there is a problem with the belt tensioner, it should be replaced in time. If it is not replaced in time, it may cause the engine to shake, difficult to ignite, and it may not hit the car in severe cases. It may also deform the valve top, cause damage to the engine components, and even lock , Causing the belt to fail to drive normally, causing the car to break down.
